John and Patricia Marsh had a lot to celebrate last week.
Not only have they reached their 70th wedding anniversary, are expecting their tenth grandchild, and have notched up 60 years in the house they built in Poulton Hill in Marlborough, but they also got a card from the Queen,
John, 93 and Patricia, 91 used to run The Green Dragon in Marlborough High Street and their five children all now run businesses in the Marlborough area.
The whole family had a big party on Saturday at East Grafton village hall with about 50 people.
They were married in Preshute Church, Manton on January 25 in 1950.
