THE latest group of Warrington residents aiming to start the New Year in a healthier fashion have kicked off their 12-week Fit To Tackle bootcamp journey.
Fit To Tackle, the free weightloss programme run by LiveWire and Warrington Wolves – based at Halliwell Jones Stadium – sees a group of people take part in exercise sessions and receive nutrition support and advice.
The last group, which ran from September to December, lost more than 50 stone combined, and hopes are high for this group.
Tom Kearney, LiveWire advisor and Fit To Tackle coach, said: “Monday night saw us welcome our new intake of 64 participants, ready for their 12-week weight loss journey.
"They were given all the ins and outs of the programme ready for the hard work to start tonight.
"Everyone seemed really motivated as they left the session, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how well they all do.”
