MOTHERCARE in Warrington is set to close its doors for the final time this week.

The children's store went into administration in November and has confirmed the final day of the shop on Junction Nine Retail Park will be Sunday.

A massive sale has been under way since November and most stock has now gone.

The upstairs and the cafe at the store have already been closed to shoppers.

The shop has been a mainstay in the town retail park since it was opened as Children's World in the 1990s.

It moved to a new unit in 2016 before the closure.

Among the features loved by children and adults was the large tree.
