WORK on a £10million apartments development in Latchford is continuing apace.
A total of 189 flats are planned on the site of the former Beers Timber and Building Supplies yard on Station Road, bordering the Cantilever Bridge and Manchester Ship Canal.
Three five-storey blocks will house 33 one-bedroom apartments, 126 two-bedroom flats and 30 three-bedroom units.
The site had previously been vacant since 2006, with planning permission for the scheme granted by Warrington Borough Council in late 2018 and construction beginning last year.
