WARRINGTON Wolves hooker Daryl Clark has ended a stellar year by tying the knot.

The 26-year-old got his hands on the Challenge Cup trophy in 2019 and was awarded the Lance Todd Trophy for his performance at Wembley Stadium.

Now, to cap the year off, the England international was wedded to partner Leigh Asquith on Sunday, December 29, during a ceremony at Sandburn Hall near York.

Wire teammates including Ben Currie, Joe Philbin, Declan Patton and Danny Walker were pictured suited and booted for the day.

And the former Castleford Tigers star was inundated with messages of congratulations from a number of other Warrington players past and present – with the likes of Ben Murdoch-Masila, Bryson Goodwin, Brad Dwyer, Jordan Cox and Pat Moran sending their best wishes on social media.
