WARRINGTON'S fostering service has launched a new campaign to find the area's most welcoming front door this Christmas.

Foster4, Cheshire East; Cheshire West and Chester; Halton and Warrington Borough Council’s regional foster carer recruitment service have released a heart-warming new advert.

It’s part of their ‘Could you open your door?’ campaign to inspire people to open their doors and become a foster carers for local children.

To encourage residents and organisations to join in, the service has launched a competition to find Cheshire’s Most Welcoming Front Door. The competition will see one lucky winner receiving the accolade and a £500 B&Q voucher, donated by organisation, Weee Charity.

The competition will be open until Friday, January 3. The winner will be decided by a panel of children in care and announced on January 7.

Residents and businesses living or based in Warrington are encouraged to get involved by uploading photos of their front doors to the Foster4 Facebook page or via Instagram using #welcomingfrontdoorsofcheshire.
