GIRL Guides are fundraising for a rewarding community trip to Malta next year.
Lucy Fontana, Daisy Hammersley and Chloe Nash, aged 12, will be travelling in August as part of a Girl Guiding North West community action trip.
The youngsters, who are part of the Second Appleton Guides, will work with Friends of the Earth Malta on their community garden, which grows produce and flowers for the community, as well as a beach cleaning project.
They are on a mission to fundraise in order to cover the cost of the trip and are planning events in and around Warrington.
Their first event will be a Christmas Fair at The Stag in Walton, tomorrow, between 12pm and 3pm.
There will be tea, coffee, mince pies and mulled wine on offer as well as a variety of christmas crafts and gifts.
