BAH humbug! Everyone's favourite festive tale is set to spring into life next month.

Centre Stage Theatre Company will bring the classic ghost story A Christmas Carol to Prestatyn Parish Church for two nights next month.

It simply is not Christmas without the Charles Dickens classicincredible, and in this multi –media production, the players will combine live action and film combine with lighting, sound and some surprises for a memorable retelling.

The 21 strong cast will stage the story of Ebeneezer Scrooge in the perfect gothic surroundings of the church, bringing the audience to the dismal rooms of the meanest man in Victorian London, played by Rob Armstrong.

The miserly Scrooge is shown the error of his ways by four ghostly apparitions, including his former business partner Jacob Marley and the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Yet to Come.

Reliving his past and experiencing his possible future, Scrooge is given the gift of a second chance to put right the wrongs he has done and finally embrace the spirit of Christmas.

A Christmas Carol will appear at the church on Wednesday, December 11 and Thursday 12 at 7:30pm.

Tickets are £7 and can be booked by calling on 01745 887393.
