THE decomposed body of a man was found in his bed after concerns were raised about his welfare, an inquest heard.
Marc Anthony Lucas, 41, had a history of alcohol and drug use and was under the care of the community mental health team, an inquest heard.
Assistant Dorset Coroner Grant Davies heard the mental health team had been unable to contact him so spoke to his mother.
She went to his home in Liberty Way, Poole, but was unable to get an answer so alerted police.
His body was found in his bed.
The Bournemouth inquest heard a post mortem examination was carried out but the cause of his death remains unascertained.
The inquest was adjourned until June next year to allow for further inquiries to be carried out.
