A POPULAR bonfire event returned to Trefonen last weekend and it had its biggest turnout yet.
Trefonen Fire Festival was back for another year and it brought with it a bigger and better firework display than last year's event.
Crowds of local people flocked to Trefonen Playing Field on Friday to enjoy the fantastic firework display and roaring bonfire. And they were also entertained with live music.
There was plenty to eat and drink, from hot food and toffee apples, to festive mulled wine, and Stonehouse Brewery was on hand to supply beer.
Emily Pugh was the lucky winner of the raffle and was given the important task of pushing the plunger which lit the bonfire.
