A MOVING car was hit by a brick thrown from a bridge by vandals.
The vehicle was travelling westbound on Sankey Way when it was targeted by youths, who threw the brick from the bridge linking the Peace Centre to Sankey Valley Park.
Damage was caused to the roof of the car during the terrifying incident, which occurred shortly after 5pm on Sunday, November 10.

A spate of vandalism was reported throughout west Warrington the same evening.
Vandals smashed the windows of car and house during a crime spree between 8.30pm and 10pm throughout Chapelford, Hood Manor, Westbrook and Old Hall – as previously reported by the Warrington Guardian.

And the Peace Centre was also affected, with three youths causing thousands of pounds worth of damage when they smashed a window in the entrance hall.
