WARRINGTON fell silent today, Sunday, for the annual Remembrance Day parades.
Thousands of people from across the town attended services at 11am.
The main service was held at the cenotaph on Bridge Foot and Warrington Guardian photographer Mike Boden was there to capture the key moments which can be viewed in the gallery above.
Also part of the day was the rededication of the restored cenotaph following a 10-month restoration project.
The mayor of Warrington, Cllr Wendy Johnson, war veterans, religious leaders and members of the armed forces joined the public for the ceremony.
