Gritters out in Warrington town centre this afternoon
STAFF have been out and about preparing Warrington town centre for this weekend's cold snap.
Grit has been laid around Market Gate in the centre of town this lunchtime, Friday.
Temperatures are predicted to fall to around 0c in the early hours of Saturday.
Large crowds are expected in Warrington this evening as the town's Christmas lights are illuminated.
The show starts at 6pm with the switch-on expected around 7pm.
Entry is free.
