WARRINGTON town centre’s first sushi bar has opened at Golden Square.
Woyo has brought a taste of Asia to the Old Fish Market with its selection of sushi, noodles and rice boxes.
Owner Kelvin Shi prides himself on using fresh, MSG-free ingredients and catering for all tastes and diets, including vegetarian and vegan.
He said: “We are thrilled with the reception we have had so far received from Golden Square shoppers. Our menu has been attracting people from across town and the feedback has been incredible.
“The variety of dishes we have caters for all tastes and dietary requirements, whether you’re vegan, vegetarian or someone who simply loves meat, our traditional Asian dishes really do offer something for everyone.”
As well as quick dishes to eat in or takeaway, Woyo, next to Irish bar Flanagans, offers specialist soft drinks.
This includes its ‘Ramune’ range – a type of Japanese fizzy drink – a selection of coffees, and Pokka green tea.
Ian Cox, Golden Square director, added: “This new concept is a completely unique to Golden Square and further showcase’s our point of difference.
“We’ve been thoroughly impressed by what we’ve seen of Woyo so far and the quality Kelvin Shi has to offer and we wish Kelvin and the team there great success.”
