THE M6 is fully reopen northbound following a serious accident this morning, Thursday.
All lanes were closed following the multi-vehicle crash near to junction 24 at Ashton at around 7am.
Queues stretched back more than 10 miles at the worst point to Woolston.
One of the vehicles, a lorry, hit a bridge support and one lane was closed until 12.35 pm for bridge support inspection and repairs.

But now all lanes are reopen and traffic is returning to normal levels.
