CHAMPIONS Saints will kick off the defence of their Super League crown with a replay of last October’s Grand Final at home to Salford on Friday, 31 January.
Six days later they travel to Warrington to play the Wolves for the first time since their controversial Wembley defeat.
In a break from tradition – and with a nod to player welfare – teams will play only one game over Easter, with Saints entertaining old foe Wigan Warriors on Good Friday and no match on Easter Monday.
Saints will break new ground with three games against Toronto Wolfpack – with two of those away.
The first of those is scheduled for Saturday, February 29 at a venue yet to be confirmed, with London a possibility.
The Saints will cross the Atlantic for the first time when they face the Wolfpack at the Lamport Stadium on Saturday, May 2.
There is currently no listing for the World Club Challenge – but if that game against NRL champions Sydney Roosters does go ahead in the traditional slot it will mean that the week four home game with Catalans would have to be rescheduled to later in the season.
In terms of the loop fixtures, apart from the additional Wolfpack clash, Saints will also play extra away games at Leeds and Warrington, with their additional homes being versus Wigan, Huddersfield and Hull FC.
They will play Salford at Magic.
