POLICE have spent a second day at a Woolston house as they continue their investigation into the deaths of 39 migrants.

The cars belonging to Joanna and Thomas Maher were towed away by police this afternoon.

Two Range Rovers, a white Chevrolet sports car and a motorbike were taken away to be examined.

Police have also taped off a hairdressers on Fearnhead Lane which is believed to be owned by Mrs Maher.

Essex Police have today, Saturday charged Mo Robinson, the 25-year-old lorry driver from Northern Ireland, with 39 counts of manslaughter. 

Joanna and Thomas Maher, from Woolston were arrested yesterday, Friday at their house in Wiltshire Close by police on suspicion of conspiracy to traffic people and on suspicion of 39 counts of manslaughter.

The pair, both aged 38, claimed on Thursday they had sold the Scania lorry cab, which is registered in Bulgaria, to a company in Ireland.

Mrs Maher, who is reportedly the last known owner of the vehicle, told MailOnline: "We did own it but sold it 13 months ago."

Last night, Friday a man was arrested at Stansted Airport in connection with the incident and a man in his early 20s was also arrested this morning at Dublin port.
