A SHEEP has been safety returned to its field after getting stuck in the Bridgewater Canal in Daresbury.
Shortly before 7.30pm last night, Wednesday, firefighters from Lymm and Warrington stations were called to Red Brow Lane to rescue the animal.
A plan was made and two animal rescue technicians entered the water.
The sheep was then carried back to its field.
