CLASSICAL ballet takes centre stage in Northwich when the highly acclaimed Vienna Festival Ballet Company returns to town.

Vienna Festival Ballet begins a UK tour in October, with the opening night taking place at Northwich Memorial Court.

The tour runs until December 2019, taking the cast of Snow White on a journey across the country.

The timeless fairytale, based on the traditional Brothers Grimm story, sees Snow White

She journeys through a magical world of hip-hopping dwarves, an enchanted mirror and a poisoned apple in pursuit of her Prince Charming.

The production promises to dazzle the whole family, with choreography from Barry McGrath.

The show is set to an array of orchestrates pieces by composers including Faris and Gounod, with music specially written for Vienna Festival Ballet’s production of Snow White.

A spokesman said: "Returning by popular demand, Vienna Festival Ballet’s Snow White promises to be a delightful treat for all the family.

"Whether you’re a fan or experiencing ballet for the very first time, and offers an ideal opportunity to introduce children to the beauty of ballet."
