A PRIMARY care property company is helping young people with mental health issues by providing them with vital resources.

The Assura team, based in Wildespool Business Park, is supporting MedEquip4Kids to ensure the Fairhaven Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) unit in Winwick can continue to look after vulnerable and distressed 14 to 18-year-olds.

The unit needed books, mood cards and other items to help young people with their emotions and communication skills, as well as diagnostic kits.

Ghazala Baig, chief executive of MedEquip4Kids, said: “We are very grateful to Assura for funding our project with the Warrington CAMHS Team.

“The resources will help staff deliver the best possible care to young people needing urgent support with their mental health and wellbeing.”
