THREE lanes are shut on the M6 southbound following a crash this afternoon, Wednesday.
The crash happened between junction 21 for Woolston and junction 20 for the Lymm Interchange.
Traffic is also slowing to look on the opposite side.
The buses in Warrington are struggling to cope with the increased traffic in the area.

Lanes one, two and three of four remain closed after all traffic was held until 1.50pm.
Lane four has opened but there are long delays in the area.
