AUTUMN is well and truly upon us.

HIGH LEGH TRANSPORT DAY > SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Warrington Guardian:

High Legh Garden Centre hosts the event, organised in conjunction with Knutsford and District Motor Club, on Saturday and Sunday.

A great selection of classic cars, bikes and vehicles of interest will be on display all weekend between 10.30am and 4pm.

High Legh Miniature Railway will be running and exhibiting its own range of steam engines.

LYMM FIRE STATION OPEN DAY > SATURDAY

Warrington Guardian:

A FUN-FILLED open day is planned at Lymm Fire Station on Saturday

The station, on Cliff Lane, will open its doors to the public from 11am to 4pm.

The open day is free and will include a number of equipment demonstrations conducted by firefighters, such as a rope rescue, use of the aerial ladder platform and a road traffic collision.

GOLDEN SQUARE OPEN AIR BOXING FOR CHARITY > SATURDAY

Warrington Guardian:

There will be 10 bouts of boxing in the Old Fish Market from 6.30pm and judges include Warrington Wolves players Ben Westwood and Blake Austin.

HC Promotions teamed up with Golden Square for the event to support suicide prevention charity, Papyrus.

Boxers will even enter the ring to their own walk-on music, lasers, lighting effects and smoke machines.

CHILDREN'S ADVENTURE FARM TRUST > SUNDAY

Warrington Guardian: The Children's Adventure Farm occupies the site of a former 17th century farm in Millington, near Altrincham

The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust, based near Lymm, is to hold its 18th annual family fun day on Sunday.

The event is free and organisers are hoping to make it better than ever.
