Winwick Road was closed by an accident near to the McDonald's restaurant this dinnertime.
A BIKER has been rushed to hospital after Winwick Road was closed by a crash.
Police shut the A49 northbound near to the junction with Kerfoot Street after an accident involving a motorbike and a car at around 11.45am today, Tuesday.
Paramedics attended the scene, close to the McDonald’s restaurant, and took a man in his 30s to Warrington Hospital following the incident.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening, and Winwick Road has since reopened.
