AS the Warrington Wolves faithful roared out his name, 'Super' Bennie Westwood bid an emotional farewell to The Halliwell Jones Stadium.
Following last night's 23-16 victory over Wakefield Trinity, the retiring Wire legend was honoured along with the club's other departing players.
Westwood, who joined The Wire way back in 2002, struggled to hold back the tears as he gave a speech to fans and teammates after being presented with a momento by chairman Stuart Middleton.
Then, teammates Ben Murdoch-Masila, Sitaleki Akauola, Bryson Goodwin and Lama Tasi – plus head of player operations Kylie Leuluai – honoured the retiring great with a Haka.
Goodwin, who is leaving to return to South Sydney Rabbitohs, also got a rousing send-off, as did the five other confirmed departees.
