Llanmerewig Church is looking for help in tracing the families and friends of two local men who served during the First World War.
Church members are trying to trace the families of Thomas Clement Evans and John Albert Edward Parry and invite them to an open weekend which will include a Service of Dedication of a new memorial with their names on it.
With a grant from the Powys War Memorials Project, a memorial plaque will be unveiled at the church, near Abermule and Kerry, on September 14 and 15.
