A 37-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with "life changing injuries" following a crash with a tractor.
At around 6.15pm on Thursday, August 29, a motorbike was involved in a collision with a tractor on the A489 between Newtown and Llanidloes.
As a result of the collision, the 37-year-old motorbike rider was taken to hospital by air ambulance with life changing injuries.
The road was closed while emergency services were at the scene and was reopened by 12.40am.
Officers want to speak to any witnesses who were travelling along this road at the time of the collision and have dashcam footage, or anyone who witnessed the vehicles involved travelling along the road.
Witnesses are asked to contact the Dyfed-Powys Police on 101.
