PROFESSIONAL vacancies have increased by five per cent since this time last year across Warrington despite Brexit turmoil.
That is according to new research from the Association of Professional Staffing Companies, the leading trade body representing the recruitment sector.
The data, which analyses monthly hiring trends, also reveals that the north west is outperforming every other area in the UK in terms of vacancy growth.
Moya Rylands, regional director at APSCo said: “In recent years, Warrington, and the wider north west region, has become a fantastic area for job opportunities.
"The region is bucking the UK’s trend of falling vacancies, as Brexit fear stalls business growth. "Here in the region there are several sectors thriving, such as accounting and finance, which has seen demand increase by 32 per cent and legal, which is up by 21 per cent.”
