A body has been found during the search for missing man James Jefferies.
Police say a body of a man was discovered in woodland near Garth Owen in Newtown.
The death is being treated as "unexplained".
Dyfed-Powys Police says that although formal identification has not yet taken place, the next of kin of James Jefferies are aware of the development.
Police and family had put out an appeal on Saturday, August 24, expressing concern for Mr Jefferies' welfare after he went missing for several days.
