Hundreds of people - and their dogs - flocked to the Ffrith Common Land Park to enjoy a family fun day in fine weather.
The event was held on the Ffrith Common Land Park in Prestatyn and organised by Friends of the Ffrith in collaboration with the North Wales Indoor Bowls Centre to celebrate the tenth anniversary of receiving a Green Flag Community Award.
Joining the revellers was the mayor of Prestatyn and Meliden, cllr Tony Flynn, who spent the day meeting stall holders and visitors and declared the event as a huge success.

Friends of the Ffrith secretary Malcolm Wilkinson said: “The environmental awareness area attracted a lot of attention as public interest in the recycling of plastic and crisps packets was most encouraging.
“It was a wonderful sight to witness so many children and families enjoying themselves in the park that has been transformed over the pat ten years. The weather was kind and feedback from residents and holiday makers made it clear that they enjoyed it immensely and are asking for it to be repeated next year. “
Activities included stalls, dog show, creepy crawly critters, children’s games, face painting and magic bubbles,
