LANE closures on the M6 have been lifted after emergency repairs to the Thelwall Viaduct.
Three lanes of the southbound were shut between junction 21a at Croft and junction 20 at Lymm, with a bridge joint being fixed by engineers.
The southbound entry sliproad at junction 21 was also closed.
While work had been due to continue until around 1pm, this was finished early and all lanes were reopened shortly before 11am.
