A MAN has been taken to hospital following a crash in Dutton this morning, Thursday.
The one-vehicle smash happened on a bend along Barkers Hollow Road at 6.40am.
Two fire engines attended from Runcorn and Lymm attended the scene along with paramedics.
The driver of the car was trapped in the vehicle which had flipped onto its side.
Firefighters stabilised the car and then used specialist cutting equipment to release the driver.
He was then passed to the care of paramedics and taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
Crews were in attendance for one hour and ten minutes.
