Officers searching for missing 21-year-old Adam Thomas from Hartlepool have this morning found the body of a man at Hartlepool Marina.
A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "Whilst no formal identification has taken place as yet, officers are in contact with Adam’s family and have informed them that a body has been located."
The 21-year-old was last seen on Saturday, August 17 at a property in Church Street.
The CCTV image released was taken within Central Buildings in Church Street at 10.20pm on Saturday.
Mr Thomas is believed to have made his way along Church Street towards Hartlepool Marina at 10.27pm.
He is described as white, about 5ft 9in, slim, and with short brown hair.
It is not known what Mr Thomas was wearing when he went missing, but he was wearing red shoes.
