FRESH from supporting The Alarm and Brit Pop favourites Cast at the Zip Roc 2019 festival, popular Anglesey band The Atoms are returning to play at Holyhead.

It will be the band’s first time performing in the town since the introduction of its new lead vocalist Charli Lamont.

Guitarist Richard Williams says the audience can expect a "high octane set of covers and originals that is sure to blow the crowd away.”

The band members are Charli Lamont, lead vocals, Brett Hughes, drums and vocals Mathew Cave, bass and vocals, Jeff Palmer, rhythm and lead guitar and Richard Williams, rhythm and lead guitar.

You can see the Atoms this Bank Holiday Friday, August 23, at the Holyhead Sailing Club at 9pm.

Entry is free and the band will be playing covers from artists such as Queen, Prince, The Killers as well as several of their own penned songs.

Brett Hughes The band's drummer and backing vocalist said:

“We can’t wait to return to Holyhead and show off our new vocalist Charli Lamont.

"Charli is a power house of a singer who compliments the band perfectly.”

You can also see The Atoms play at the Iorwerth Arms, Bryngwran, on Anglesey, at 8pm, on Saturday, August 31.

Brett added: “The Iorwerth Arms is the place where we felt most at home, there’s no other venue like it on Anglesey.”

Entry to the Iorwerth Arms is also free and the band will begin playing at 9pm.
