PIZZA fans can now get Asda pizzas delivered to their homes after the supermarket announced it had signed a deal with online food firm, Just Eat.

Asda Cockhedge in Warrington is one of the first stores in the country to get the service, meaning customers in WA1, WA2, WA4 and WA5 postcodes are now able to order a selection of pizzas from the in-store diner, with prices starting from £4 for a 9ins pizza.

Orders can be placed online via the Just Eat app and are sent to the Asda Kitchen in-store where they are freshly cooked by the diner team. They can then be either collected from the store or delivered directly to your door – saving customers up to £13 on the price of a large pizza when compared to popular pizza delivery rivals.

Delivery is available from lunchtime onwards and includes favourite toppings such as Margherita, American Sizzler, Pepperoni, Vegetable Supreme. Customers can also choose to order and eat at the in-store diner or takeaway.

Asda was the first UK supermarket to launch a hot food delivery service in partnership with Just Eat. The Warrington store has been chosen as one of a select number to receive this service as part of a national roll-out, less than a year after it was first trialled in the Leeds branch.

Store manager, Kevin Roberts, said: “We are pleased to announce that customers in Warrington are now able to order delicious hot pizzas and food from our Tilly Lane store via the Just Eat app. After a successful trial our customers say they are loving this new service.”

James Ainger, Asda’s senior buying manager, added: "We are really excited to be bringing this new service to customers in Warrington. We know our customers love Asda pizzas and now they can have them delivered to their doorstep.”
