A LYMM estate agent says 2019 has already been a bumper year with seven sales of £1million or more.

Bobby Shahlavi, from Gascoigne Halman, says 2019 has been a busy year of house sale activity with the sales making up 70 per cent of all houses sold at this price level in Lymm.

Bobby said: “Choosing the right estate agent to sell your home is an important decision, and there are many factors to consider as this will naturally have an impact on the final selling price.

“We are proud to be the agent of choice as we have sold seven times the number of homes over £1m than any other agent in Lymm.”

Speaking about the property market, he added: “The uncertainty of Brexit can have a detrimental effect on people’s purchasing decisions but we aren’t necessarily seeing it here. Instead, we have seen a steady increase in house sales especially at the higher end of the market.

“We are entering another busy period of the year. Based on what we have seen year to date we are going to have a strong autumn and winter.

“People see homes selling and it encourages them to do the same. This brings a fresh supply of properties to the market, so there is plenty of choice for home buyers looking to make a move.”
