DELAYS are being reported on M6 southbound due to a multi-vehicle accident.
Eye-witnesses say five lorries and three cars were involved.
It happened between junction 21a for Croft Interchange and junction 21 for Woolston, causing congestion in the area.
The accident was partially on the grass verge near to the central reservation but all lanes were re-opened as of 9.40am.
