A NEW healthy food kitchen is set to open in Latchford offering nutritious meals which are low in calories.

Chef Mani’s Nutrition Kitchen will open its doors to the public on Monday, September 2 after refurbishing the former Eat Clean Cuisine on Kingsway South.

And from here they will provide a family-friendly store serving main meals, breakfasts, kids meals and food prep to either eat in or takeaway.

The kitchen is owned by head chef Patrick Mani, whose passion for cooking is the driving factor behind the store’s opening.

“The aim of the kitchen is to bring the best quality nutrition to the people of Latchford,” said the 31-year-old.

“It will be my first business, but I’ve been cooking for 16 years since I was 15 and it’s something that I’m really passionate about.

“It’s great that I’ll be able to make a living while helping people to eat healthily at the same time.”

Originally from Colchester in Essex, Patrick moved to Latchford three years ago and cannot wait for his kitchen to finally open.

“We’ve still got a lot to do in terms of the renovations as we’re four weeks away from opening, but it will definitely be ready on time,” he added.

“It won’t be long though before we open and I can’t wait to get started.”
