THE beach has officially arrived in Northwich town centre.
Staff at Barons Quay have been working hard building the fenced off beach area opposite H&M for the past few days to get it open for the weekend, after it proved incredibly popular during the summer last year.
But with the sun shining today, Barons Quay has decided to open up the beach a day early.
As of midday today, the covers came off the sand and the beach was opened for families to enjoy.
Barons Quay will also be hosting free summer activities at the beach for families to enjoy each Saturday throughout the holidays.
