HIGH ratings and reviews from visitors have scooped Walton Hall and Gardens a coveted title.

The 'jewel in Warrington’s crown' has won a Certificate of Excellence Award from TripAdvisor for 2019, after consistently positive ratings from visitors to the site.

The recent addition of a new dedicated website, complete with an interactive map, has also made it easier for guests to enjoy the estate.

Reviews from visitors rated their visit, ranging from things to see and do and the availability of staff, to the cleanliness of facilities, the quality of food and drink and disabled access.

One reviewer said: "Beautiful gardens, mini zoo and park for the kids and great place to walk the dog.

"A little café on site and regular activities and events take place so check out their Facebook page.

"Walton Hall itself is beautiful and great for special celebrations. Definitely worth a visit."
