A SEA of colour took over the Village Hotel last night, Wednesday as the first prom for members of the LGBTQ+ community in Warrington took place.
Warrington Youth Service’s LGBTQ+ youth group, TAGS (Teenagers, Gender & Sexuality) hosted the free event for young people across the town who identify as LGBTQ.
The prom was held in conjunction with the River Reeves Foundation and to help support the young people to do this, the older TAGS group were successful in receiving a grant from Cheshire Community Foundation.
A fairy tale and Disney-theme saw some young people dress up as their favourite characters.
