PATIENTS in Knutsford and Wilmslow say their GP practices are among the best in the country, according to a new survey.

The results of the GP Patient Survey 2019 have been revealed – and all nine practices across the area have been rated as better than the national average by those who took part.

Patients from across England were sent questionnaires to take part in the GP Patient Survey between January and March, with 2,792 patients in the Eastern Cheshire CCG and 1,076 patients from Knutsford and Wilmslow responding.

Chelford Surgery was once again ranked as the best practice in east Cheshire, coming in the top 0.4 per cent in the country.

Last year, 99 per cent of respondents rated their overall experience at the Chelford Surgery as ‘good’, and remarkably, the surgery improved on that score this time around.
