LYMM Veterinary Surgery has reopened its doors to pet owners after a new, modern makeover.

The surgery on Booth’s Hill Road, Lymm, was shut for 17 weeks while work was carried out, but has now reopened with enhanced facilities.

The veterinary practice now holds a new laboratory, state-of-the-art operating theatre, x-ray, pet friendly wards and a nurse clinic room upstairs.

Dr Rachel Dean, branch manager and head veterinary surgeon, has run the practice for seven years and says the improvements are a major boost to the surgery’s team members and their clients.

“It is now a delightful place to come and work as there is more space and it is much fresher and brighter looking”, she said.

“Clients have remarked on how fresh, modern, light, and airy it looks.

“It is a really pleasant place to come and visit and we are thankful to clients for their patience while work was carried out as they had to attend another of our surgeries in Warrington.”

Lymm Veterinary Surgery has more than 2,000 clients, serving the Lymm community and surrounding areas including High Legh, Warburton, Grappenhall and Thelwall.

The surgery employs two vets in Rachel and Stuart Becker, an exotics specialist, along with three nurses and two receptionists.

Receptionist Geraldine Daniels has worked at Lymm Veterinary Surgery for nearly 30 years after joining initially as a trainee veterinary nurse in 1991.
