The club will host a launch event at the Cinema Bar on Duke Street from 6pm.

The launch event this evening will see four guest speakers with triple amputee veteran Andy set to talk about his experiences.

Meanwhile, Saints' chief executive Mike Rush, David Hunter of Paramount Digital and Paul Nicholson from Luxor Group will also talk.

The club aims to offer the chance for business people to network and let their hair down in a relaxed friendly atmosphere.

"There's lots of business networking groups about and they all do a great job but it doesn't always suit everybody," said John, who has formerly owned an electrical contracting business and estate agents.

"We thought why not have a business club where people have a venue to go to for people to come along and enjoy a drink, a talk or entertainment, a mixture of different things.

"It's not always going to be about a business message but also to have the opportunity to discuss business with other business people. It is a relaxed sort of thing.

"There is also a room if businesses want somewhere more private.

"There's quite a relaxing approach rather than turning up at an event and having a minute, we are trying to get away from that and provide a relaxed environment where business can be done or just to enjoy themselves."
