A round-up of cases from Salisbury Magistrates' Court:

SHANE TYLER BARNARD, aged 18, of Cross Roads, Pewsey, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence of drugs, namely cocaine and benzoylecgonine, on November 21 last year. The incident took place on the A338, Tidworth, while the defendant was driving a Ford Fiesta. She was fined £287, and disqualified from driving for 12 months.

CONNOR CALLACHER, aged 21, of Pilgrims Court, Laverstock, pleaded guilty to five driving-related charges. All taking place on December 12, he drove a BMW on Pembroke Road without due care and attention, not giving his details following a collision, failed to stop after said collision, driving without insurance, and also driving without a proper licence. He was, in total, fined £200, and told to pay a victim’s surcharge of £85 and also £85 costs.

EMILY CHAMPION, aged 33, of Trinity Street, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to stealing alcohol valued at £31.95 from BP Garage, on Downton Road. The offence took place on April 7. She was ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £20, and conditionally discharged for six months.

LEE DAVID WOOD, aged 36, of Brighouse, West Yorkshire, pleaded guilty to, on November 6, driving a Mercedes-Benz on Winchester Street whilst unfit to do so through drugs. He was fined £80, ordered to pay a victim’s surcharge of £30, and costs of £85. He was also disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JAMES STUART WOODHOUSE, aged 26, of Thornhill, Dewsbury, pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Focus, on Broken Cross Bridge Road, while over the drink-drive limit. The offence took place on February 2. He was disqualified from driving for 14 months, fined £276, and ordered to pay £30 victim’s surcharge, and £85 costs.

ETHAN GREENSLADE, aged 21, of Knights Close, West Overton, indicated a plea of guilty to damaging a Citroen Berlingo, on May 10 in Laverstock, to the value of £200. He was fined £200.

GEORGE TAYLOR, aged 59, of St Marks Road, Salisbury, pleaded guilty to harassing an individual by sending multiple text messages and visiting their address, as well as damaging a door belonging to that person. He also indicated a plea of guilty to damaging a Ford Transit, to the value of £200. In total, he was fined £236, and ordered to pay £200 compensation, a victim’s surcharge of £30, as well as £85 costs. A restraining order was also made.
