THIS time next summer, the £142 million Bridge Street development will be open for business.
Traders will be in the new market hall, diners will be in The Botanist, film fans will be in the new Cineworld cinema and council workers will be in their new office.
Guardian photographer Dave Gillespie went to the town centre this week to get these great pictures of the new look buildings.
Much of the cladding is on the outside and interior fit outs will soon begin.
The Botanist is due to open in November with most of the other units ready for the new year.
