SEASON tickets for Warrington Town’s 2019/20 campaign have gone on sale as the club prepares to mark its 70th anniversary.
Adults prices have been frozen at £175 for the coming campaign, which works out at just over £8 per game for 21 Evo-Stik Premier Division home matches.
However, season tickets for concessions (aged 65 and over) and juniors (aged 16 and under) have been lowered to £100 and £30 respectively while the club have also launched a new family season ticket priced at £360, giving entry to two adults and two children.
Season tickets can be bought on the club’s newly-revamped website or in person at their upcoming home pre-season friendlies against Accrington Stanley (July 22) and City of Liverpool (August 6).
Yellows’ average home attendance went up by a third last season while almost 4,000 people watched their two home play-off games as they came agonisingly close to promotion.
Now, chairman Toby Macormac is aiming to build on that and revealed more initiatives to mark the club’s 70th anniversary are in the pipeline.
“The support we experienced both at home and on our travels towards the end of last season was fantastic,” he said.
“Although it didn’t end as we all hoped, we want to make sure we can build on that progress and give it a good go this season.
“Having the commitment of our season ticket holders – both the existing loyal fans and new ones – makes a huge difference to the club in terms of budget as we continue to strive to improve the club on and off the pitch.
“We also have some exciting initiatives to mark the club’s 70th anniversary and these will be revealed soon.”
