HUNDREDS of women took part in the 2019 Starlight Walk for St Rocco’s Hospice.
Fundraisers gathered at Orford Jubilee Neighbourhood Hub last night, Friday, for the 14th annual midnight walk around the town.
Warrington Wolves head coach Steve Price led a dancing warm-up for participants before the walkers got underway.
Ladies then completed 6.5 or 13-mile loops around the town in aid of the Bewsey Hospice.
This year’s Starlight Walk followed a new route setting off from Orford into Warrington town centre, then through Bewsey and past St Rocco’s before arriving back at the hub.
In 2018, the walk raised nearly £85,000 for the Lockton Lane hospice.
