WARRINGTON WALKING DAY > FRIDAY
It remains one of the biggest events on the calendar and takes place on Friday morning.
We are hoping for some sun as churches and schools march round the town from the Town Hall lawn.

RIXTON-WITH-GLAZEBROOK CARNIVAL > SATURDAY
From 11am until 4pm, there is plenty to enjoy and entry is free.
Staged in Hollins Green Village Green on Saturday, the annual family-friendly event offers attractions for all ages, including music, dancing and even a light railway.
In a first for the event, Whitfield Light Railway will be on hand to take visitors for a spin around the Village Green.
Cadishead Band, Warrington Pipe Band and Radio Wishing Well will all be performing on the day, with dancing from Dance Rhythm, Warrington Wolves Fusion and Michele’s Z-style group.

Head to Warrington Market forecourt, Buttermarket Street, Market Gate and Bridge Street between 10am to 4pm to check out the new event.
]Buy goods from artisan producers and craftspeople. There will also be a ‘Bridge Street bazaar’ selling curiosities and quirky collectibles
LYMM OPEN GARDENS > SUNDAY
Lymm Open Gardens takes place on Sunday with eight villagers set to throw open their gates for charity.
Green-fingered residents with gardens of all sizes and styles will be welcoming visitors between 12pm and 5.30pm as part of Lymm Festival.
All money from ticket sales will go to St Rocco’s Hospice and there will also be a variety of events at each garden to raise money for other charities. Each year the event raises around £10,000 for good causes.
RISLEY MOSS GREEN SAFARI > Sunday
Head to the nature reserve between 12pm to 4pm
A fun packed day of crafts, creatures and entertainment for all the family is promised. Enjoy birds of prey, farm animals, willow weaving and more.
Entry is £1 for adults and 50p for children
