KIDS will be able to watch Warrington Wolves' clash with Catalan Dragons for as little as £1.

The Wire are set to take on their French rivals at the Halliwell Jones Stadium in the Super League fixture on Saturday, June 8.

And a special bargain deal – which applies in the West Stand for under 16s – will see tickets priced at only £1 for junior players at the town’s amateur clubs

Meanwhile, adult tickets – available to parents and coaches of the community clubs – for the West Stand are only £5 for the game.

This is the second time this year that the club has put on the offer to its young supporters, with the same deal being in place for the home game against London Broncos in April.

The scheme was a great success that day, attracting 11,718 fans for a 48-12 win.

It comes after the recent success of the club’s community takeover initiative, which saw first-team players and coaching staff visit the town’s seven community teams and meet around 650 junior players.

Head coach Steve Price said: "The foundation and youth development staff are dedicated to growing young rugby players and raising standards through our coaching programmes.

"It was great for the performance team and players to get out to our local clubs and give something back to them."
