BUSINESSES are preparing their fringe events with only five weeks to go to to Knutsford Music festival businesses.

The festival takes place from Thursday, June 20 to Sunday, June 23 with over 40 performers across more than 20 locations in Knutsford.

Lisa Benskin, deputy town clerk at Knutsford Town Council said: “It is amazing to see so many Knutsford businesses participating in the festival this year by putting on fringe events.

“Knutsford has an incredible sense of community, and it’s wonderful to see so many local businesses returning to the event year after year, as well as so many new businesses who are taking part for the first time in 2019.

“There are some truly amazing musicians booked, both local and from further afar, and we are so excited for the eclectic mix that this year’s festival promises.

“We would like to say a massive thank you to every business that joins our festival family.

"The fringe events are what makes this a true community music festival, and it wouldn’t be the same without the support you all offer year after year.”

Eight of these businesses are returning to the festival after hosting fringe events as part of the festival in 2017 or 2018, and the event is welcoming seven new businesses in 2019.

Festival sponsors Wine and Wallop are hosting their first fringe events on Saturday and Sunday in 2019 after sponsoring the event for two years, while fellow festival sponsors Dexter and Jones is returning with its jam session event on Friday night.

You can find out more about the fringe events, including details of timings by visiting knutsfordmusicfestival.com and by following Knutsford Music Festival as well as the individual businesses on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter.
